WHEN YOU GET WHERE YOU ARE GOING ... WHERE
WILL YOU BE?
Life is a journey and all men are
likened unto travelers, pilgrims, and sojourners on this earth
(I Pet. 2:11). We are swiftly passing from time to eternity. Life
is at best, but a brief journey, and most of us are well on our
way to our destination. Some have already passed more mile posts
than they will ever see again. It may be later, much later, than
we think. The year lies out before us with all of its obligations
and opportunities. It may be our last year on earth. Have you
ever asked yourself this question, "When I get where I
am going where will I be?".
Philosophy answers this question
by saying, "After death you will be in the unknown realm
of the dead."
Infidelity replies, "After death all that
awaits you is dust and annihilation, death ends it all."
The Bible affirms, "You can go home to
heaven to live forever. Death is merely the gateway to a richer
and fuller life."
My friend, which answer do you prefer?
Is life an aimless journey to an unknown destination? Are we traveling
down a dead end road? It need not be. Heaven is not mere wishful
thinking, it's not just a figure of speech, but a divine reality.
Listen,
"Blessed are they that do His commandments,
that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter
in through the gates into the city." (Revelation 22:16)
Let no man deceive you. both heaven
and hell are definite realities. Jesus plainly says, "And
these shall go away into everlasting punishment; but the righteous
into life eternal." (Matthew 25:46)

This Sunday, the group will be worshiping
in Kpone and Haana. Ted and bro. Edward
Owusu-Ansah established the church in Kpone in 1985. It is a small
fishing community located about 8 miles from Tema. Several years
ago the Kpone church established a congregation in the new community
of Haana.
This week Ted & Jackie will be
holding a seminar for preachers and church leaders on the Devil
and the Occult at the Vertical Centre church of Christ in Tema.
(This is the church where bro. George Amuasi attends and the first
church that Ted and Renee worked with on their first trip to Ghana
in 1980.) Renee & Joyce will be conducting ladies classes in
Tema, Ashaiman and Kpone. Ted will be preaching each evening at
Haana and Dawhenya.
Each morning, Trisha & Troy will
be teaching at the Ashaiman Christian Centre with
classes from kindergarten to third grade.
