1 + God
And Jonah began to enter the city on the first day's walk.
Then he cried out and said, "Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!"
(Jonah 3:4, NKJV)
God gave Jonah one message. He proclaimed that message to the
city of Nineveh. It did not seem possible that he would make a dent in this
city known for its brutality, cruelty and extreme dislike for Jews - but he
preached anyway.
With God’s help this preaching produced a great response from the souls of
that city - Nineveh repented! Just one man - no PA system, without any television
or radio program - one man plus God converted a city.
We need to realize that one man or woman plus God can do
a mighty work.
You too, can do a great work - if you will but work with God.
Coming Soon ...
… a new
program of outreach into our community entitled House
to House / Heart to Heart. It is an 8-page bi-monthly magazine that
presents the gospel of Christ in a very positive format. At present more than
750,000+ issues are being mailed with great success throughout the country.
We have
ordered our first issues and hope to begin an initial mailing of the magazine
into our community around the first of the year. (Sample issues the foyer.)
If you have a friend, neighbor or co-worker that lives in Charlotte or Sarasota Counties that you would like to have placed on the mailing list—please give us their name and address. (There are sign up sheets for the mailing list on the table in the foyer.)
